中山大学公共卫生学院教授、博士生导师,卫生管理学系主任。在澳大利亚昆士兰科技大学(QUT)获得博士学位,曾先后任职于中山大学、清华大学、格里菲斯大学,从事教学与科研工作。2014年底作为人才引进回国工作,2018年担任国家科技部重点研发计划项目首席科学家。
长期从事气候变化健康风险评估与应对策略研究、环境流行病学健康效应评价、卫生政策分析、全球卫生等方向的研究工作,主持国家重点研发计划、全球变化亚太研究网络(APN)、澳洲联邦科学与工业研究组织(CSIRO)等20多个科研基金项目(总科研经费超过2000万元),致力于建立“一带一路”气候变化与健康应对研究协作网络,已发表学术论文70余篇,包括在Nature Climate Change, Environmental Health Perspectives等国际权威期刊上发表SCI/SSCI论文60余篇。
